The Odessa Rotary Club gave a $500 donation to CARE Highway, a
nonprofit international organization. CARE Highway sponsors a
school for children ages 5 through 17 in Serbia, Europe. This
is another area which is war torn, and where the the government does
very little for their people.

2005 CHRISTMAS PARTY PHOTOS
On November 2, 2005, a special Rotary meeting was held at UTPB.
The speaker was John T. Montford, Senior Vice President,
State Legislative & Regulatory Affairs for SBC Services, Inc.
Mr. Montford presented a check for $22,000 from SBC to UTPB
for the Gary Watkins Scholarship Fund.
Judge Watkins
was a longtime Rotarian of the Odessa Rotary Club.
