Tsunami Relief
Club member Dr. Jesse Cone challenged the club
to raise money for the Tsunami relief effort. The club raised
$3,758.00, and we donated the money to Hunger Plus, Inc. to use in
their efforts to help those recovering from the Tsunami. JB
Roberts (Past District Governor) is the chairman of
Hunger Plus, Inc. On January 26, 2005, PDG JB came to the club
from Plainview, Texas to receive the check. The club also
presented him a check in the amount of $1,000.00, which is the
club's annual contribution.
